Overview

Without missionaries, how will the world hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ? How will they be sent? The Womens Missionary Band takes this responsibility seriously, and raises funds for both home and world missions through a variety of endeavors including World Mission Drives, mission campaigns, and Dorcas clubs.

We recognize the needs of women are vastly different today than the needs of previous generations. Women are aware of their personal needs as well as the needs of their families. The Womens Missionary Band recognizes this as the first and closest mission field and offers special ministry for women of the band. Ministry programs within the local churches serve to teach and train women to be effective women of God – Christians first, but also wives, mothers, sisters, friends – by offering answers the the most challenging questions of life.

At 211º, water is hot, but at 212º, it boils—and boiling water produces steam powerful enough to move a locomotive. In the same way, allowing God to fill us with the Holy Ghost can be the difference between being warmed by His presence and being moved by His power.

When we reach the boiling point with the Lord, His power is released in us to accomplish what was impossible before.

Mission Drives

The March and October World Mission Drives are special fundraising events held to support global mission efforts. These drives encourage individuals and churches to contribute financially, helping to fund essential mission projects and outreach programs worldwide. Through these efforts, lives are transformed, and the reach of the Gospel is extended to more communities in need of hope and support.

Sharing Hands

Sharing Hands raises funds to support missionaries by providing resources for building construction, transportation, and basic necessities. These contributions help missionaries fulfill their duties, offering vital support for churches, transportation, and assistance during times of hardship, while also ensuring that ministers are able to continue their work effectively in spreading the Gospel.

Missionary Partnership Alliance

The Missionary Partnership Alliance provides financial support to National Overseers, allowing them to focus more on spreading the Gospel and expanding The Church of God's outreach. Through one-time donations or monthly pledges, individuals and churches can contribute to this program, which helps sustain missionaries and their efforts in the field.

Mission Teams
