The Church of God

About

Who We Are

Vision & Purpose

The Church of God is the global Body of Christ with members united by the covenant to walk in the light of God’s Word.

Today, we are the continuation of the Spirit-filled Church in the book of Acts and are organized in over fifty countries. We exist to glorify God by making disciples who will spread the message of Christ and His Church to every nation on Earth, laying the foundation for future generations to do the same until the time of Christ’s return!

The Whole Bible, Rightly Divided

What We Believe

Our beliefs form the bedrock of our faith, guiding our actions, shaping our values, and inspiring us to live with purpose and conviction. We accept the whole Bible, rightly divided, with the New Testament as our rule of faith, practice, government, and discipline.

About The Church of God

Our History

In 28 A.D. on the Horns of Hittin in Israel, Jesus Christ called together His twelve apostles and organized The Church of God. “And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him. And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:” (Mark 3:13-15).

The Church, during Christ’s time on earth and after His ascension, operated under theocracy, governed by the immediate direction of God. It grew and expanded until its influence was felt in all the known world. This growth is recorded in the book of Acts and other New Testament writings.
